Episode 1 — Liam Gallagher

April 2026 · Director of Client Success at Arkus Consulting, where he works across eDiscovery, digital forensics and legal technology. His background spans fifteen-plus years in legal and financial services, with experience across private practice, financial services, regulation and high-stakes consultancy. He holds a PGCert in Data Protection from Northumbria University, and a degree I Information Technology in Organisations from the University of Southampton. Carries certifications across the major review platforms including Nuix, Relativity and Everlaw, and focuses his current work on AI integration, client and vendor management, and making sure delivery actually matches what was promised. Outside of work, he competes in HYROX and is an avid music fan and barbecue pit master. He has direct views on where the eDiscovery industry is getting things wrong and where the next few years are likely to take it. 

 

Episode 2 — Aaron Patton

April 2026 · Solutions Architect at Everlaw, where he helps law firms and legal teams navigate complex eDiscovery software and AI-powered tools. Trained as a lawyer, his career has taken him through database administration at Netscape, discovery consulting, and deep into the legal tech space — giving him a perspective that sits comfortably across both law and technology. Brings hands-on experience with how AI is being adopted in practice, including where it genuinely delivers and where the industry still needs to catch up. Currently focused on helping clients get real value from AI in the discovery process, with a particular interest in the validation and integrity questions that come with it. [Personal interests to add.] Has clear views on where eDiscovery is heading and what legal professionals need to do now to be ready for it.

Episode 3 — Nick Foster

April 2026 · Technical and Consultancy Director at CYFOR Legal, bringing a wealth of experience that spans both law enforcement and the private sector. Before entering the world of legal tech, Nick spent over a decade as a police officer, specialising in digital forensics and investigations — a background that gives him a rare and grounded understanding of how evidence, technology, and the law intersect. Following his time in policing, he honed his expertise further through roles at major organisations including BT and Anexsys, before joining CYFOR Legal where he now leads technical and consultancy operations. A self-proclaimed AI evangelist, Nick is passionate about the role technology can play in transforming e-discovery, whilst never losing sight of the human relationships that sit at the heart of great client service.

April 2026 · Senior eDiscovery Manager at Syllo, bringing a wealth of knowledge and experience to the ever-evolving world of e-discovery. With a sharp, forward-thinking perspective on the role of artificial intelligence in legal workflows, Fiona is at the forefront of a generation of professionals helping to reshape how the industry approaches data, case management, and decision-making. Passionate about collaboration, responsible AI adoption, and building fit-for-purpose solutions for clients, Fiona is not just observing the transformation of legal tech, she is actively driving it.
